Due to time contraints, Rusty only works out college and professional players.
Justin McClendon (JM) - Head Instructor
A former player at Brunswick CC, Justin graduated from UNC-G before earning a Masters Degree in Sports Administration from VCU. Justin has coached as a college assistant at Greensboro College and Virginia Commonwealth. He is currently the Director of Basketball Operations and Player Development at FCDS. Justin typically trains more advanced players who are in middle school age or older.
Craig Dawson (CD) - Head Girls' Instructor
Former Kinston High School and Wake Forest University standout who ranks 4th all-time in WFU history for three pointers made in a career (255). He also owns the WFU record for most three pointers in a season (100) and is tied for the ACC record for most three pointers in a game (11). Currently the Head Varsity Girls' Basketball Coach at Forsyth Country Day School. Although Craig is our lead girls' instructor but does boys of all skill level as well.
Kishon Bishop (KB) - Youth Instructor
Born in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Kishon captained the Under 19 National Team, and was a member of the Senior National team. At Piedmont Baptist College (2004-2008) he earned two 2nd Team All Region honors, one 1st Team All Region honor and one All American honor. He graduated with a degree in Bible with Youth emphasis. He has coached various basketball camps and teams at the Rusty Larue Basketball Academy and the YMCA. While Kishon's focus is training our younger players, he will also train players at every age and skill level.
